1. Clean legs thoroughly with castile soap or other non-medicated cleanser.
2. Apply poultice evenly to affected area, 1/8th to 1/4th inch thick. Mold and shape with wet hands. A pail of water nearby is useful.
3. Cover with cotton optional.
4. Cover with wet paper or plastic cling wrap.
5. Apply quilted pad over paper or plastic.
6. Wrap pad with standing bandage.
7. Leave on overnight.
8. Remove all wraps and bandages.
9. Rinse off with cold water.
10. Repeat as necessary.

Note: Both products can be applied over nicks and cuts-they will not infect the wound. Both products can be used as hoof packing. The Original Premium will do a better job on a stone bruised foot or other painful foot condition.

Caution: We do not recommend applying to heels or to the back of knees.
